For the 25th consecutive year, the World Series was televised in the United States by Fox. Play-by-play announcer Joe Davis (who was the Dodgers’ lead television announcer on Spectrum SportsNet LA during the regular season) called the games, along with Baseball Hall of Famer John Smoltz as color analyst and Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci as field reporters. https://parcdeschutesarmagh.com/ Kevin Burkhardt hosted the pregame and postgame shows, joined by analysts Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and David Ortiz. Fox Deportes aired the Spanish-language telecasts, with play-by-play announcer Adrian Garcia Marquez, analyst Edgar Gonzalez, and reporters Carlos Alvarez and Jaime Motta.
In the bottom of the inning, Treinen allowed a one-out double to Judge and a walk, but induced a flyout to Stanton and struck out Rizzo to complete 2+1⁄3 scoreless innings of relief in his longest outing of the season. With the Dodgers still maintaining a one-run lead heading into the bottom of the ninth, and with very few remaining bullpen options available, Dave Roberts called on Game 3 starter Walker Buehler to close out the game and season. Buehler, on one day’s rest, pitched a perfect ninth inning, striking out Austin Wells and Alex Verdugo for the final two outs and clinching the title for Los Angeles.

Rain world game
There are so many games that I have looked at, taking in the press blurb, the description and any images, that should have ensured that they would not be for me. Then there are the instances that come from loading up said game, playing two minutes of it, still in the understanding that it may not suit.

Eventually, Five Pebbles decided to create an organism to overwrite the „self-destruction taboo”, a law written into all of the cells of all iterators to stop them from escaping the cycle of death and rebirth themselves. To achieve this, he needed to run an extremely large amount of parallel processes, which caused him to use much more water to stop himself from overheating. Because of this, Looks to the Moon, who shared a water source with Five Pebbles, no longer had enough to sustain herself. In an attempt to save her life, Looks to the Moon sent a forced communication to Five Pebbles as a last resort. This resulted in him fumbling his experiments, which released the Rot inside of his structure, a cancer-like collection of cysts that can spread inside of iterators. Looks to the Moon was unable to make Five Pebbles cease his increased water intake in due time, and her structure ended up collapsing, leaving her in a comatose state.
As almost any critical or user review will tell you, Rain World is a difficult game. It isn’t and shouldn’t be controversial to say so. However, opinions diverge on the significance of this difficulty. Some, like this Gamespot review, contend that failure makes frustration “devolve into apathy.” Others might take a perspective like Hidetaka Miyazaki does in his interview with The New Yorker, and emphasize “joy that comes from overcoming hardship.” I’m not here to say that either of these perspectives, or anything in between, is wrong. However, the underlying logic with each of them is that difficulty is just a seasoning sprinkled on top of the game, and players will either appreciate the flavor or spit it out. In this view, difficulty is an adversarial force, something that might attract a certain kind of player, but only by pushing others away.
Eventually, the slugcat reaches Five Pebbles, a massive, decaying, semi-biotic supercomputer called an „iterator”. After climbing up Five Pebbles’ exterior or traversing through the bulk of the superstructure, the slugcat falls into Five Pebbles’ puppet chamber. Five Pebbles explains that, like all creatures, the slugcat is trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth and assumes that the slugcat wants it to end. He then directs it to a place where it can free itself from the „great cycle”. Following his guidance, the slugcat travels underground and enters a sea of „Void Fluid” where it can ascend, escaping the cycle. With the Downpour DLC, both the Survivor and the Monk can instead go to Outer Expanse, a lush jungle without lethal rain, and reunite.
Rain World is a game in which you play as a slugcat — a small, nimble creature — separated from their family, trying to survive in a world filled with predators. Time is divided into “cycles,” during which the player must acquire enough food to hibernate before apocalyptic floods drown the world. The slugcat itself has limited mobility, almost no offensive prowess, and is killed, if not actively hunted, by the majority of the world’s other denizens.
Open world pokemon game
Unlike in previous titles, the player character can be attacked and harmed by wild Pokémon. If enough damage is taken, they will fall unconscious and reappear at the base camp. Players can capture wild Pokémon in the overworld without engaging in battle, though some must be battled before being caught. Battles can be initiated by releasing captured Pokémon near a wild Pokémon. While the game retains the turn-based battle system of prior titles, Legends: Arceus allows players to trade attack damage for more turns and vice versa. Outside of standard battles, the game also has special boss battles where the player character must dodge and attack powerful Pokémon, with regular turn-based battles being included during the fights as opportunities to stun them.
In Japan, it sold 1.42 million physical copies within three days, and another 645,000 throughout February to top sales charts in both months. It sold 125,851 units in March, making it the second best-selling game of the month (below Kirby and the Forgotten Land).
Is Arceus sort of like a fusion of what Pokemon Snap was dreaming of, and what Pokemon Go enables with augmented reality on phones, and what Breath of the Wild was to RPGs? Yes. Is it also a more traditionally open-world RPG than I’d prefer? Yes. But I can see where this is going. Whenever Nintendo leaps forward again with a next-gen console, Arceus might be a template for its future game franchises.

When is game 5 of the world series
The eight-time All-Star, who homered in the final two games of the Atlanta Braves’ 2021 World Series win over the Houston Astros, is the first player to go yard in six consecutive games in the Fall Classic overall.
The Dodgers won Game 1 on the strength of Freeman’s Kirk Gibson-style walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning, but they took a commanding 3-1 series lead thanks to, surprisingly, their starting pitching. Jack Flaherty, Yamamoto and Buehler combined to allow three runs in 16⅔ innings, obliterating the Yankees’ biggest advantage.
While Yankees fans enjoyed the effort, they also held their breaths remembering last year when Judge ran through the right field fence at Dodger Stadium. That herculean effort injured his right foot and derailed the team’s season.
Below is the full World Series schedule, including start times as well as TV and streaming info. Game 5 will be the last game of October. Depending on the results on Wednesday, the next MLB game will either be in November or March 2025.
The Philadelphia Phillies became the first team knocked out of the divisional round when the Mets closed out Game 4 at Citi Field to upset Philadelphia. Meanwhile, in the American League, the New York Yankees advanced to the ALCS, where they beat a Cleveland Guardians team fresh off an ALDS Game 5 win over the Tigers.
